Scoring...
Most leagues will have a scoring system similar to this:
Touchdown = 6
Field Goal = 3
Extra Point = 1
Fumble Recovery = 2
....And so on
Head-to-Head (Let the games begin)
So now you have drafted your team (let's call it the 'Super
Crickets'), and you are ready to play your best friend 'Jimbo' (who
is the coach of the 'Chicken Nuggets'). Let's give a hypothetical
line-up:
| Super Crickets (you) |
Chicken Nuggets (them) |
QB: Brett Farve
RB: Warrick Dunn
WR: Randy Moss
TE: Shannon Sharpe
K: Jason Elam
Def: Jacksonville
|
QB: Kurt Warner
RB: Terrel Davis
WR: Jerry Rice
TE: Wesley Walls
K: Richie Cunningham
Def: Washington |
Now it's Sunday and football is on. If Brett Favre throws for
a touchdown, you get 6 points. If Richie Cunningham kicks a field
goal, the 'Chicken Nuggets' get 3 points, etc. The team that has
the most points after the weekend is the winner. Let's say this
game ended at 6-3. Well, the Super Crickets win the game and can
mark one for the WIN column. Next week you will play a different
team.
Well that's the basics. Leagues will vary, but the idea remains
the same.
Fantasy Gamez is much easier. Most of these games involve a salary
cap.
